Homework Club takes place on Mondays and Tuesdays from 2:15 – 3:15
(Third Class to Sixth Class)

Tennis

Tennis is popular with boys and girls providing exercise, agility, physical, social and mental benefits. Our teachers, In. Ní hÉimhín and An tUasal Mac Gib, have organised a tailored programme suitable for our students complementing the PE programme in use in the school. Should you need to make contact please give your child a note for the attention of the staff or use the Post Box in the foyer.

Music Bug Club

Scoil Phádraig Naofa is one of the Outreach Centres of Cork City Music College where children are introduced on Monday and Tuesday afternoons to many facets of music in a structured but fun environment.  Pupils are introduced to music making and notation through the use of voice, recorder and percussion instruments.

Rising Sun Karate

Our Karate classes continue in the hall in Scoil Phádraig Naofa on Wednesday afternoons. Pupils have the opportunity to build fitness levels and agility while increasing co-ordination, self confidence and self discipline while still having fun.

Irish Dancing

Our Irish Dancing classes continue on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons in the hall in Scoil Phádraig Naofa.

Dance classes develop a love of music and dance while enhancing fitness, co-ordination, stamina and self-discipline through dance.

Crafty Kids

Crafty Kids is an after school class that aims to explore the arts in a fun and creative way. We explore many different mediums such as paper maché, drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, pottery, paper craft, oil pastel, fabric art and much more. As well as creating beautiful art works our class may help to improve motor skills, develop creative thinking, build on observation and analytical skills and help to promote self-confidence. Crafty kids is a fun and exciting after school class.

Class Schedule

  • Classes are held on a Thursday and a Friday from 2.15pm – 3.15pm.
  • Our classes are suitable for Senior Infants – Sixth Class.
  • There are six classes in each course.
  • The upcoming starting dates for the 2019/2020 courses are as follows:
    • 12th/13th September
    • 7th/8th November *Due to Parent Teacher meetings held on the 14th of November there will be NO Thursday class this day but an extra class will be added on. The Thursday class will finish one week after the Friday class for this course.*
    • 9th/10th January
    • 27th/28th February
    • 30th April/1st May
