Science Week
We invited Sandra in to speak to both fourth classes about her work as an engineer. We studied how an oil spill can be caused and we also created an imaginative structure involving dry spaghetti, tape and a marshmallow.
Our big Easter art project has been these paper mache Easter eggs. They were made from newspaper and some watered down pva glue. The Easter basket was made from some spare cardboard found in storage. We are very proud that most of this project was made from recycled materials.
For oral language, we set up a town hall meeting so the class could see how decisions being made by one person/ company might affect others.
