Sixth Class Junior Achievement Day

6th Mar 2019

Sixth class were involved in junior achievement programme on February 12th.

It was entitled more than money.

It teaches financial literacy and entrepreneurship to students age 11-12 years old.  This experience enhances students’ classroom curriculum.  Students were encouraged to use innovative thinking to learn money management skills that support positive attitudes as they explore and enhance their career aspirations and their understanding of entrepreneurship.

Through a variety of hands-on activities designed to support differentiated learning styles, students develop a better understanding of the relationship between what they learn at school and their successful participation in a worldwide economy.

12 employees from Otterbox Ireland volunteered their expertise for the day.  It was a huge success and very beneficial to the children.
